It is not of immediate concern, yet it is weighty and beginning to bear down slowly. Who knows the direction life will take? Who knows the next stop on this journey? All the while, the mundane life is barreling on towards uncertainty. Far away lands beckon, but it is a mystery this road's final destination. Is it near? Is it far? All that is known is adventure awaits. There is a hesitancy to travel alone; yet, is it reckless to endanger another's life on route to parts unknown? Is it selfish to lead someone away from their own path? Or, is it companionship that makes the trip worthwhile? Is it selfish not to share the joys of the adventure? These are the questions that linger over the road ahead. There is a tension, but with tension comes the hope of release.
